Detailed description

This policy describes the relation between AxolotlClient, with its integrated social features connecting to the backend served at https://api.axolotlclient.com, and the data you transmit to us either by logging into the backend from the mod's settings or by manually entering it into the mod's interface.

AxolotlClient protects your data by making use of up-to-date security measures, such as encrypted HTTPS traffic and TLS encryption for WebSocket communication. AxolotlClient has no intent to sell your data to or share it with third-party companies. However we may be required by law to share data with government entities in certain circumstances. It is not allowed to use any of the provided features to circumvent the law. Should we notice any illicit activity we may restrict your ability to access these features.

Processed Data

AxolotlClient collects and processes the following kinds of data:

• Your Minecraft user UUID
• Your current and, at your choice, previous Minecraft username(s)
• Your relation to other users (friend, friend_request, blocked)
• The messages you send to other users
• The chat channels you own or participate in
• The chat channels you have been invited to participate in
• Images you have shared
• The Minecraft versions and mod versions you are using as part of an aggregated, anonymised statistic

IP addresses as well as other information associated with API requests are not actively logged, however under some circumstances they may be for purposes of diagnosing issues with the service or identifying areas where improvements can be made. This data may only be retained as anonymised statistics. Should this data be accidentally collected due to a misconfiguration, it is to be deleted immediately upon discovery.

As per the GDPR you have to following rights over your data:

1. The right to access, update or delete the information we have on you. Whenever made possible, you can access, update or request deletion of your Personal Data directly within your account settings section. If you are unable to perform these actions yourself, please contact us to assist you.
